Watch a Noh play

I went to see a ‘Takigi Noh’ performance held at a famous temple in Yokohama. Takigi Noh is a special form of Noh, performed outdoors by bonfire light. Both the plays and the actors were famous, and I had a wonderful time.

While I go to see Kabuki every year, it’s been a while since I last watched Noh and Kyogen. I thoroughly enjoyed the performances, as well as the beautiful illumination of the temple as the sun was setting.
