Heavy snow in Tokyo closed highways affecting logistics

A heavy snow warning was issued for Tokyo Metropolian area from February 5th afternoon.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, 6 cm of snow fell in central Tokyo.
Snow was also recorded in Saitama, Kanagawa and Chiba prefetures.

On NHK World I reported the reasons why it took so long for the Metropolitan Highway to be unblocked, the longest line blocked for 53 hours, with interviews of experts with analysis and drivers affected.
